Malibu Wired’s Adventure at CEDIA Expo 2024: Innovation, Inspiration, and Industry Connections

The CEDIA Expo is always a highlight of our year at Malibu Wired, and 2024’s event in Denver did not disappoint. As we walked through the bustling exhibition halls, the air was electric with innovation and possibility.

Our first stop was the Basalte booth, where we got hands-on experience with their intelligent home automation products. The sleek design and intuitive interfaces left a lasting impression, and we’re excited to incorporate Basalte into some of our upcoming luxury projects.

The big buzz of the expo was undoubtedly Control4’s unveiling of their new user interface and Apple HomeKit support. As we watched the demo, our team couldn’t help but nod in agreement – this update is set to be a game-changer for the industry.

Throughout the day, we had the pleasure of reconnecting with our friends and partners from Bang & Olufsen, Origin Acoustics, Meljac, and Lutron. It’s always inspiring to see how these industry leaders continue to push the boundaries of home automation and audiovisual technology.

Speaking of Lutron, their new Triathlon Roller wire-free shades caught our attention. Positioned between their top-of-the-line Palladiom shades and their standard offerings, these new shades offer a perfect blend of quality and affordability that we’re eager to introduce to our clients.

As the day wound down, we attended the Lutron Excellence Awards 2024. While we didn’t bring home any trophies this year, the experience was invaluable. Our CEO, Vladimir, even had the opportunity to snap a photo with Lutron’s president, Ed Blair, following his inspiring keynote speech.

The CEDIA Expo once again proved why it’s an unmissable event for our industry. We left Denver with our minds brimming with new ideas, strengthened partnerships, and a renewed passion for creating extraordinary smart home experiences.
