Celebrating design, craftsmanship, and technology in Bel Air
On June 24th, The Strada House opened its doors for an exclusive preview event in Bel Air, bringing together an incredible group of designers, architects, real estate professionals, brand partners, and guests for an evening centered around architecture, lifestyle, and thoughtful design.
For Malibu Wired, the evening was especially meaningful. The Strada House marks our first collaboration with House of Rolison, and we were honored to be part of a project where design and technology were treated with the same level of care and intention.
From the moment guests arrived, the tone of the evening was unmistakable. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Beverly Hills displayed three beautiful vehicles along the driveway, setting a refined first impression before guests made their way into the home. Inside and around the property, people gathered for drinks, food, conversation, and music while a DJ performed near the pool area.
The event had the feeling of a true design gathering: relaxed, elegant, and filled with conversations between people who understand the value of architecture, craftsmanship, and experience.
Technology That Supports the Home
At The Strada House, technology was never intended to become the focus. It was designed to support the way the home feels.
Throughout the residence, Malibu Wired helped integrate systems that quietly enhance everyday living, including Bang & Olufsen audio, Lutron lighting control, automated shades, UniFi networking, security, intercom, and whole-home technology infrastructure.
During the event, Bang & Olufsen speakers were displayed throughout the home, complementing the atmosphere with the same sense of timeless design seen across the property. There is a natural connection between beautifully engineered sound, refined interiors, and the quiet confidence of brands like Rolls-Royce—where performance, materials, and restraint all matter.
A Thoughtful Guest Experience
As the evening came to a close, guests received a curated selection of gifts from event partners. Malibu Wired also prepared Bang & Olufsen gift bags with B&O and Lutron catalogs, along with one of Bang & Olufsen’s most iconic small design objects: the legendary bottle opener.
Among B&O enthusiasts, the bottle opener has its own playful reputation as one of Denmark’s most “borrowed” design pieces—a small but memorable reminder that great design does not always need to be large to become iconic.
